    Hf 5" ros

Anyone have the HF ROS? I am considering picking one up for $16 with the coupon. I don't know if I am wasting my time and money on it. I don't like that funky rectangular dust port.

Doesn't Bosch use a similar port on their 5" ROS?

Don't have one so I can't say how well it does or doesn't work but 2 amps is a pretty puny power plant.

Don't have it - but Dave may be right; many ROS today seem to run 2.5 to 3 amps, but not sure how much 0.5 amp would impact. Mine is 2.5 and works great. I also prefer a dust port I can hook up to a 1.25in shopvac hose without adapters. It seems to rate ok - if its like their multi-function tool, it may be fine.

How would you hook it up to dust collector? I wouldn't consider any sander that I could'nt attach to my dust collector system! Way under powered. Don't waste your money is my thoughts, but just my thoughts, not advice.
