Does anyone have this saw and do they like it? I assume you can't put a riser block on this for extra cutting height which is only 4".

IMHO, save yourself a mountain of grief and pass on it unless it is an older jet. the units produced since the brand has been owned by the walter meier tool group are average at best, pricey and trading primarily on the reputation of jet tools of the past. and if you need any sort of technical support from jet, you are strictly on your own. it pales when compared to companies like grizzly and rikon, to name two.there's a solution to every problem.......you just have to be willing to find it.Comment
