    8' Contractor Clamp

Anyone have one of these in the 99" length? I am wondering how well it will work as a straight edge for cutting sheet stock and to what extent it might flex or bend. These clamps are great in the shorter lengths.

Works well. I've used this one and the 50" length for a couple of years. I use it with the circular saw guide and router guide.

I didn't have good luck with my 50 and 24 inch. The jaws wouldn't grip properly on the first try. I would have to go back and forth between each end to finally make them work. I recently got a set of Pro-Grips from Peachtree (mostly to use with a Dado jig) and have been pretty happy with those.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Perfect. Nice and rigid, clamps tightly. Storage is a bit of a bear but otherwise I recommend it highly.
