Anyone see the new Bosch CMS??

Wow, I can not afford this, but I think that this saw is the most amazing 12" sliding but not sliding cms. Check it out

WOW! OK folks, it won't be long before you see the top of the line models from other brands being put on clearance like sale!

The space saving and control seem awesome. How well will it stand up in the long run?

I sure wouldn't mind having one of those. I have a 12 inch Makita but I need a WIDE berth to use it!

I checked out the price - $800 on average! It will not cut into home shop sales for sure. It is NICE looking! Now if I can sell my rarely used 10 year old 12 inch Makita for $400 - I might could stretch the budget to include that. With retirement coming and plenty of time plus a huge need to total remodeling the house inside and out, it would be worth it.

I love that Makita, but I don't like the space requirement.

Either way, I am set for some home work!

It does look innovative. With all the pivot points, seems that's what would wear.

Amazing, but WAY out of my budget!

My father and I are debating about going in halves on one (he recently retired, more time). Our big thing is what (non Bosch, aka the ones we have) stands will it work on?

I think they are aiming squarely at the Festool Kapex in the high-end pro saw market. I like it but don't need one...yet.
