i'm looking at another small, portable TS for mobility and found a left tilt made for sears by a company called Rexon. anyone know anything about the tools made for sears by these guys?

Looks to be a British company with manufacturing facilities in more than one country, none of them being in Great Britain.

They're the 137 designation, this saw used to be sold at Lowes under Tradesman brand. I believe they also manufacture the mini-lathe, a couple of the miter saws and the much like band saws.

That said, this particular table saw doesn't have many positive reviews outside of sears.com. In it's class; jobsite/mobile I'd easily rank the Bosch highest followed by Ridgid.

At the same price point thought, Craftsman clone first/primary brand second

      Craftsman - 21828 - DeWalt DW745
      Craftsman- 28463 - Porter Cable - PCB220TS

i knew i forgot to mention something....the c-man saw i'm looking at will be a third table saw and i'm getting it off CL for $35 as something to drag around for rough carpentry. do rexon made items rate an "ok" or are they more like the recent vintage ryobi TSs, which i would rate as "not ok" (lest anyone get upset, the last comment specifically excludes all bt3xxx).comments appreciated.

It's got to rate an OK at a minimum simply because it only costs $35. Will this be an everyday saw for you? If so, I'd pass, spend some jack and get a saw that you won't be cussing at the first job you take it too.
