    Thanks everyone for the help. I ended up using the WD-40 suggestion and it worked great. I saw another posting online that talked about using WD-40 along green scrubbie pad on a finishing sander to do the final cleaning. I did all that and then coated the bed with two coats of paste wax. Seems smooth as glass and ready for sale. I just hate having to sell it, but there's no room. I'd rather see it put to good use instead of sitting in the corner of the garage.
