Although not a Ryobi, I use a plunge router in my table, and have no problems. Looking at your picture, the table alone looks to be worth more than the asking price, so the router's a bonus. -
I owned that model router some years back and used it in my table frequently.
The knob that you can see in your picture (lowest part of the machine) is the height adjuster, nothing more than a fine screw thread, so it's quite a slow job winding the cutter up into position. The model has a manually-operated spindle lock, which shattered the casing on mine, rendering it useless after about eighteen months' use.
Powerful enough, though.

As long as the table is flat, it would be hard to go wrong at $100.00.
EdDo you know about kickback? Ray has a good writeup here... https://www.sawdustzone.org/articles...mare-explained

Yeah, I agree with the others...it's worth it just for the table."It's a dog eat dog world out there, and I'm wearing Milk-Bone underwear."- Norm (from Cheers)

Bad idea, but give me the guy's number and e-mail so I can tell him off for you. (cackles maniacally)
Seriously, the table top alone is worth the asking price, much less the insert, fence, leg kit and the router.Comment

Very nice! I think you're gonna like it... (But let me warn you about the slippery slope... You might just get to where you keep a 1/4" roundover bit in it, and find yourself easing the edges of even non-essential things... like firewood. )Comment

FWIW, I've had my 3.5hp Hitachi in a table setup for years and could not think of ever NOT having it that way. Probably have run 10K feet thru it over the years. Built my own lift (from plans in a ww mag, can't remember which one) which works great. I think you got a great buy, even if you have to "tweak" it to your liking! It stays in the table as I have a P-C plunge and a Trend trim router for use by hand.RuffSawn
