Cordless Bosch Tools

Last year I picked up a Bosch cordless circ saw, hammer drill, charger and flashlight at yard sale for a steal. I looked for a cheap battery, but none to be had. Nothing on craigslist and Ebay batteries weren't any cheaper than factory or local. Budget finally allowed me to get one last week. I used the drill for the first time last night and wow is it nice. It drives screws my Ryobi doesn't and seems a lot smoother when it is running. I will test the hammer mode this weekend when I pull a new circuit through my brick facade.

The circ saw has some features my Ryobi does not. It is bigger, so I can cut through a 2x4 in one pass, it has cut depth markings on the depth adjustment and it has more markings on the angle indicator.

I've never owned any Bosch tools but have noted they always seem to rate very high in comparison tests. Heard nothing but good things about any of them.

My Bosch Lith-eon Impactor 10.8V driver is probably my most-used tool... period. It has never missed a beat, and has weathered the storm beautifully. I am completely pleased with it.

I've got one of the first Bosch's 9.6V from some time in the 80's. One of the two batteries still works, but not as long as I'd like. New batteries are still available for it. It's a great tool.

I have the 12 volt impact tool(same tool as the 10.8 V tool with more voltage) and love it. Battery life and torque are great, recharge time is short, what's not to like? It does more than my Ryobi One+ impactor and is much more comfortable to use. I'll have more of the line when I find them on sale; next is the 12 volt 3/8" capacity drill.

I couldn't agree more about the tools. A couple of years ago I worked in a cabinet shop that provided the Litheon 10.8 drills for work use. They hold up really well and sold me on getting one for myself. It's truly my go to drill. SO, at Christmas I bought the combo pack from Lowe's with the 12v drill and impact driver. Also no regrets. I now have two of the drills, one impact, 4 batteries and two chargers. Since they charge so fast though: I haven't used the second charger. It's still in the bag.
