    MAC700 vs EC79?

Hi all, looking to buy a portable(?) compressor and have narrowed it down to the Makita MAC700 and Hitachi EC79.

The main difference between them that I see is that the Makita is Oiled and the Hitachi is Oilless. Both are quiet and low draw.

Any opinions or experience with these? TIA.

No personal experience, but rule of thumb is supposed to be that oiled last longer and are quieter.

I have the MAC700. It is the only compressor i've owned, so i can't compare it with the EC79. My only complaint with it is that it is heavy.
