For Ray (and other Triton Router owners)

Some time ago (2+ years?); Ray and I exchanged several e-mails, and he even went to the trouble of sending me the UK version of Tritons 1/2" to 1/4" collet reducer - which didn't fit the Oz one

I sent several "nasty" notes to Triton complaining about 1/4" shank bits "slipping" - their response was along the lines of = "yeah - seems to be a design issue"

HOWEVER - the perfect solution is:

    http://www.mlcswoodworking.com/shops...er_collet.html

Beautifully engineered, great price -AND- 1/4" shank bits DON'T SLIP BTW - the extra length (for me), is just a bonus. NOTE: Both Triton Routers are 1/2" and they're not sold anymore

I have noticed those before. How is the runout when using the extension?
If you can read this you assembled wrong.

      WOW - that was quick!

Not detectable - is my answer I've tried several different bit profiles - all with perfect results.

I'm not kidding - these things are beautifully engineered - trust me

Now you have me wondering if Ray still works for them? I haven't seen any Triton's in a while. They seemed good, but I am more of a wait and see if the company lasts, unless something is cheap enough. Found one of the larger models (old stock) via Amazon (third party).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
