What is Left vs Right in Furniture construction?

I don't think there is a cut and dry, set way of addressing it Lee. For 39 years I label them facing the piece. I have used A B C and even 1 2 3 but I found early that the L F (left front) R R (right rear) was the most consistent and less confusing to me. I think the main thing would be to determine how you are going to do it and stick with it until eternity. At this point of the game I find labeling automatic much as co-ordinating a clutch.. gas pedal and gear shift lever driving a straight shift.

BTW.... if you happen to see this Norm in Fujina.... Howdy! Long time.. no see as I ask about you several times. Lot of water under the bridge and many carcasss pieces since we last crossed paths. The tree spirits (Kodama) have been kind to me!
