A Bosch Gloat

At a yard sale today I found a Bosch 18V saw, hammer drill, flashlight and charger for 30 bucks. No battery packs but I can get those. I now have a cordless saw that has the depth to cut through a 2x4 in one pass - my Ryobi doesn't. The Bosch also has something my corded DeWalt does not - markings on the depth adjuster to indicate depth of cut.

Sounds like a great deal if you can find the battery packs at a reasonable price.

Oh they were selling an SCMS too that I didn't buy. It was the Lowes house brand. The slides and around the base of the arm were pretty well rusted. It was a good deal but I figured if the saw was that rusted the motor had probably gotten wet too.

Getting a good deal on the tool is one thing. Good deals on batteries are another. I had to order another battery for my PC (about $70), and the only deals were clones, with not enough savings to make it worthwhile.
