All,
I recently picked up the venerable Craftsman 21400 10" bandsaw on Craigslist for some projects ($60 - is that a gloat?). I tried using the included 1/4" blade for some cuts, but it did not seem to make the cuts tight enough for what I needed for some of the tighter curves (doll bed - see below). I see that Craftsman also offers a 1/8" blade for this saw - will that 1/8" blade allow for the tighter kinds of cuts I need, or should I relegate that work to a scroll saw? I don't have any problem spending the extra money on a good 1/8" blade, but don't want to do it if the difference is only marginal compared ot the 1/4" blade. If it is a good fit, is Timberwolf still the blade of choice?
I know this is a pretty basic question, but I would appreciate any advice as I am trying to come up to speed with my first bandsaw
