    Eurton Electric motor rewinding

    I know the topic of motor rewinding comes up on woodworking forums quite a bit. The consensus is that the price is too high to justify the work, cheaper to just buy a new motor.

    Just by chance I came by a web site for Eurton Electric, which specializes in rewinding motors. I notice they list several Ryobi motors for $35 to $65, for instance.

    Their rewinding catalog is 72 pages and kinda interesting.

      That is pretty reasonable for a rewinding. I had an older one that came with a planer I got for free that needed rewinding and all the local places here quoted 4 times that 35.00

          That could be a very useful option. I hope if anybody here gets one done there, that they'll post their opinion of the results here.
