here are a few photos of the tools mentioned in the opening post:

    band saw:

    delta motiser:

    ryobi drill press:

makita sanders and milwaukee recip saw:

    bosch table saw:

thanks to all who replied. the more time i spend cleaning these tools the more i realize how lucky i was on that purchase. BTW, i sold the bosch table saw for $100 to a friend, so my out of pocket for the tools i kept was $40. my original estimate was that the approx. retail of the tools was around $2400. removing the $600 value of the bosch TS, that leaves $1800 worth of tools for $40, or $0.02 on the dollar. which proves that no amount of planning will ever substitute for dumb luck!

That really was an incredible deal.

I hope you were due some good things on the karma balance. I'd hate to see you on the owing side for all those tools.

Wow, nice find! How did the guy let those out of his garage for so little, or was he trying to stick it to his soon-to-be ex by only giving her half of a pittance?

Holy crap! That's a great deal! You could probably sell the Bosch TS if it's an unnecessary duplicate and recoup most of your investment in the whole lot.

The Jet BS should clean up nicely.
