I posted here, as I think of Sketchup as one of the many tools at our disposal. But having struggled with Sketchup I started looking for ways to use it more effectively, and found this site, which, I think, has some excellent tutorials.

I just watched the tutorials. SketchUp is an amazing program for the price - and for the most part I find it pretty intuitive and straight forward to use (but I am familar with other CAD apps which most definitely is an advantege)

I may give it another try. I didn't have much luck the first 7 times. I also downloaded http://cadstd.com/, a freebee..very involved.
