    Pat Warner Sub bases ??

I'm looking specifically at the Dewalt 618 bases (not sure if he makes others). Has anyone used them?

Right now I envision only doing very simple fixed base routing (flush trimming, dados, rabbits, etc) but who knows in the future. Should I get the plunge offset base or just the fixed one. Does the Plunge offset work with the fixed base as well? Are they worth tit?

If memory serves me correctly the bloke is very approachable. You should either email him or call and ask him directly.

Pat's bases are very nice. I bought one for for my small trim router and it fit, looked and worked very well.

I have some of Pat Warner's bases. They're well made and worth the money. A given model should fit a fixed or plunge base of the same make/model equally well since the factory-supplied plastic bases in the two-base kits are the same size and have the same screw pattern.

sbh's "very approachable" comment is correct; an email with your questions will garner a quick and friendly response. He also has a refreshing payment policy (see his web site for details).

I have Pat Warner bases for my "baby Bosch" hand trimmer. Excellent marks all around. Well made and fit perfectly.

I had one on my DW 621 when I had it. Pat is a class act and knows exactly what he is doing. I will join the group that says e-mail him with a question and you will recieve the truth.. whole truth and nothing but the truth about it. He won't steer you wrong to make a sale as he is well thought of and has been for years around this hobby.

I have bought and sold things before receiving payment in the mail but Pat is the ONLY one that I know of who sells commercially that will do so.
