Once you buy something from Amazon and give your email, it seems they involve you with anything and everything. Anyway I get this in email about a Hitachi 10" CMS. Seems like a good deal...anyone have this one?

Hmm, I buy a lot from amazon, and even have an 'associates' commission account for my website, and I only receive occasional emails regarding my associate's status. You must have opted in at one time, or at least not opted out
Good deal for a CMS though -- although if I were buying today I wouldn't buy anything but an SCMS with laser. I have a 10" Ryobi I've used for about 7 years now and added an aftermarket laser to, but every so often I really wish it had the sliding feature. -
Consider yourself lucky, hardly a day goes by that I don't receive an email from Amazon informing me that they have a special deal just for me.

Yup, I got one of those a while back to have as a light, portable saw that I could put wherever I want it. I already have a 12" slider on a Ridgid MSUV that I used to keep set up between a couple of benches. However, I ended up using that space and now the MSUV is often folded up. Not a big deal to stand it up, but the Hitachi 10" is easy and there for a quick cut, also.
I like the Hitachi. I adjusted everything square when I first got it and it has held even through some rough handling. As usual, the blade isn't great. The only disappointment is that there aren't any extension wings included, if that is a big deal to you.
By the way, there is a $20 rebate on this until the end of June. Makes this a pretty darn good deal.Comment
