Anyone catch the Pitchmen episode with the Dualsaw?

Did this guy actually invent the dual counter-spinning circular saw? It seems strange that Sears has been selling a similar tool for a few years and yet this guy emerges as the inventor and now wants an infomercial. But maybe that is just me.

In any event, I've read that the Sears/Craftsman is less than reliable. But, I like the concept. If this version were more reliable I'd be interested in trying one.

I was interested, but for $200+ after shipping and handling I say nope. But they really do a good job showing a product. I have to say the TV show is interesting in it's own right, but you have to think that one of the reasons they agreed to be in the show is because they could re-sell more of the items on Discovery's airtime...

I guess I need to hang around in Sears more, I'd never seen a counter-rotating saw like that. I thought it was super clever and recognized the anti-kickback right away. What blew my mind was cutting the coke can and the egg. I wanted to need the thing, if that makes any sense. I guess they're good pitchmen, huh?

I was really pumped after watching the show, then I tried to load up the website and I guess me and a million others were trying at the same time!

After I calmed down a bit, I realized that it's not set up for any kind of accuracy which just won't cut it in my shop. It's more like an angle grinder, and I've already got one of those.
