    Drum sander question

I feel a gloat should be coming, but want someone to twist my arm just a little more.

I've been contemplating building a drum sander for a while now. A woodshop is closing nearby, and he has a Performax 16-32 drum sander, relatively new, it looks very good, for $350. I think this should be a very good deal, but space... What do you think?

I missed a Delta DC for $100 by a few minutes

But I am also getting about 60 to 70 BF of European Beech, and some cherry, alder and maple, maybe 20 to 25 BF for these, for $125.

Edit: Oh yeah, he also has an almost new CNC, in case you're interested, 4 ft by 8 ft table, a steal for only 48,000.

$350 is a pretty good price not to mention the steal you are getting that wood for!!!

Is that enough arm twisting. I dont have the room either but for $350 I would get it.

Great sander and an excellent price (especially if it comes with a nice supply of paper strips). I love my P16/32, and you will wonder how you got along without it...

I can't remember the last project I did that I didn't use my 16-32 to complete.

got the 22-44 plus version on ebay for a steal, i love it.
350's well worth it if in good condition.
