I have never seen it but I personally would not waste $55 (+shipping?). I am sure you have probably seen this recent thread but there are many comments about overthinking setup.

IMHO this type of solution is overkill. I will happily sell you my cheapie HF dial indicator and very hi-tech lump of wood for half the price
