Craftsman cabinet & hybrid saw question

I noticed in my local Sears, they had the cabinet saw listed as around $800, and the hybrid at about $500, and both marked as discontinued. Anybody else see this?

I've never seen the industrial cabinet saw model in stores...do you mean the 22124 hybrid with the full enclosure and Biese fence? The 22114 has a 3/4 enclosure, aluminum fence, but features essentially the same guts as the 22124. If so, $800 and $500 are both good prices. Haven't heard anything official about discontinuing them, but Steel City who owns Orion and makes the Craftsman saws, has come out with a new design that includes a riving knife, so Craftsman may be following suit...

I didn't get the model nos., but they looked the same as the ones in your post.

Wish I could afford a new saw.
