    Tool Ramblings

I have spent the last couple days building a workbench. Nothing fancy just a free standing bench with access on all four sides.
In the process I was impressed some of the tools I used.

I haven't used the DW746 TS much prior to this and I am still amazed at the power but this time I paid attention to the dust collection. Hooked to my Jet DC-650ARC there was a slight amount of dust on the table and a little on the floor under the saw, I was impressed.

The Jet DC-650 with the canister is great, no dust anywhere.

The Incra 1000SE miter gauge was a pleasure to use, it was the first time I had used it.

The Bosch PS-40 drove about 50 2" #10 screws without a complaint, I did drill pilot holes.

It's a pleasure when everything works the way it was designed to.

Amen to that! Don't you love when a plan comes together?!

BTW, what blade are you running on your DW746?
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

I am running the stock blade that came with it. It's OK but I plan on getting a better blade or two. Not nearly as nice a cut as the blade that came with my old BT3.

Sounds like you're having a blast. Getting the turning itch yet?
