If you want to spray lacquer, I highly recommend you get Resisthane from Hood finishing. I ordered another gallon last week and had it a few days later. It was about $30 for the gallon of finish plus shipping. I got a couple little things with it and the total was about $40. I think this is pretty reasonable for good finish delivered to your door.
Resisthane will cut itself into the previous coat so you do not need to sand between coats and it dries in an hour. You clean up with water, however, and there is little odor. I spray in an unheated basement shop but I am in a warmer climate (SC). It gets all over so I use a respirator and put tarps over the things that I do not want overspray on. I use a Wagner conversion gun so I probably get even more overspray.
