Interesting mortiser from Jess'em & Woodcraft

This looks pretty cool, another less expensive option for mortising. I have and use a Domino, but this is pretty neat. It's like a mini-multi-router, far cheaper, and uses a drill as a router.

I bought a Jet hollow chisel mortiser for less than this. It is one of the less used tools in my shop but I do not regret the purchase. I still make loose tenons occasionally with a router and jig but it is much faster and more relaxing to use the mortiser.

I saw that in the new catalog, looks pretty slick. Not exactly cheap though.

It's not cheap, but cheaper than say the FMT or the Domino, so I thought it deserved a look. Jim, not everyone has the room in the shop for a dedicated mortiser, I dunno which would be faster, this thing or a dedicated mortiser.

I'm fairly certain that I can cut mortises faster with the Domino than with any dedicated mortiser of that type, but at more than twice the expense, you'd hope so. I just thought this was interesting.
