    Jet tools color switch

Does anyone know the year when Jet tools changed from blue to white? I am looking at a used Jet 6" jointer tomorrow. It is a version with the old blue color and I was wondering how old the machine is? I have a pretty good list of things to check out and look over that I found on another forum. The price seems about right for a used but well maintained (at least on the outside) machine. Just wondering if the statement of it being "about 8 years old" is accurate. Thanks. - Kevin

I'm not sure of the exact year that the change was made but when I first started reading your post I thought to myself that it was around 199-2000 so 8 years old doesn't sound out of line to me.

I have a vague memory of reading in some Jet sales papers that the white was at first a special color for the Milenium line ie. 2000 and was so popular that they kept it
