Miter sled

I have been trying to locate a miter sled I saw on a link posted on a forum(I am pretty sure it was BT3 Central). I've tried searching every combination I can think of, and on several other popular forums to no avail. The video was from the manufacturer demonstrating their new miter sled (not Rockler, Bull Dog, Kreg, Incra). I believe it was in the last 1-2 weeks. If anyone remembers the tread or which manufacturer it was, I am interested in making it my next tool I gotta have.

Thanks for the link, but no the one I saw had the pivoting miter gauge built into the sled.

I think some can be set up to cut on either side of the blade. Others offer right or left side sleds that force you to purchase both.

Joe, thanks for the link. Yes this is the one I was looking for. Does anyone have the Jointech miter sled? If so, what are the good points, does it have any faults? Thanks for your replies.

Larry, are you a BT user and if so whats so bad about the SMT. I know some love it and some hate it but setup and used properly it works really well.

I keep meaning to make a dedicated miter sled for stock 45 degrees but otherwise it works fine for me.

I found the SMT on the BT3 took care of 95%+ of the need for a miter sled. I made another privot hole to position the miter fence near the rear of the SMT which added ~8" travel in front of the blade. But, alas I recently went over to the dark side. Here was my BT3100:

The length of travel is a drawback. I built a simple panel sled (took about an hour) and problem solved.

Which dark side did you go to?

I went with the Grizzly G0478, it's a 2hp hybrid saw. I really like the quietness (compared to the Ryobi) and the smooth feel and weight of the miter gauge and rib fence, but I sure miss the riving knife.

Nice looking saw - and shop. You really have got me guessing with your photo - where is all the junk? It seems like you have nice clean benchtops and can actually see the walls. In mine nearly every inch of wall space (and many benches) have something on them. I guess it does do double duty as my garage but either way I think my WW stuff has mostly taken over.
