    Sanding drums?

I have an older Roybi oscillating spindle sander (square body), and I need several of the sanding drums. I don't see them listed on the Roybi site. Anybody know where I can find them?

I think most any brand will fit but I cannot find just the drums for sale.

    Thanks in advance.

I have the old OSS 450 with out the drums. I sent a message to Ryobi and they said the OSS 450 drums and the OSS 550 drums are the same. They have the OSS 550 drums listed on their site. I think they are listed else where but I can't find my notes in this "neat" shop.

Thanks for the reply, however, I'm still having trouble finding anything pertaining to oscillating sanders on the Roybi site.

      Any help would be appreciated.

            drums in the deep

Or you could try Toolsnow.com (the old Cummins Tools site). Look for the sanding drums under "Ryobi Accessories". Toolsnow has a fairly random collection of things that changes periodically.

Do you actually need the rubber drums, or just some new abrasive sleeves? If the latter, Klingspor's should have what you need.

After awhile the drums seem to wear and won't hold the paper sleeves by friction and compression. I've put a single layer of thin masking tape on a couple of mine and it seems to work..... at least for awhile. Pat

If it's sleeves you're looking for, HF carries them, not sure of quality - but I've had the stock set that came with their OSS for several years, and they seem to work fine.
