Cleaning a 1590evsk?

I got one of these not too long ago and used it along with a ceramic blade to cut some hardibacker cement board. It did a great job, but produced tons of dust. Today I was making a few more cuts in the hardibacker and noticed the metal face of the jigsaw was fairly hot (most people would probably be uncomfortable with their hand on it), but cannot remember if this was happening before or not. I figure there has been so much dust created by cutting the hardibacker it wouldn't hurt to clean the tool, but don't know where to start.

So I have two questions:
1) Is the tool heating up to this degree normal?
2) Anyone know a good way to clean the Bosch up well?

I have that saw and that high of an operating temperature is not normal. Compressed air is your best shot and the dust cover looks like it comes off fairly easy (although I've never had mine apart).

Hardibacker is a good excuse to go to Harbor Freight and pick up a cheap one time use tool.

Paslode makes a spray can cleaner for power tools that you can spray directly into the motor to wash it out. It evaporates completely and leaves nothing behind, including any oil so try not to spray open bearings and relube the unit before use.
