    Mystery object with HVLP unit.

Last week I bought the Rockler/HF HVLP spray kit when it was on sale (used to stain my deck--amazing what the CFO will authorize for the house ). Included in the box was a piece of what looks like courrigated hose, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and three inches long.

The oh-so-helpful manual didn't mention it. Any idea what this little doober is and what it's for.

BTW, the sprayer did a fine job on the deck with oil-based stain--I was a little heavy-handed on the decking, which took almost three days to dry.

When I got mine, it didn't have anything like that either. Chances are it's something that just fell into the box during packaging.

Mine had that as well, no clue what it's for. Maybe some packaging part?
