Mystery object with HVLP unit.
Last week I bought the Rockler/HF HVLP spray kit when it was on sale (used to stain my deck--amazing what the CFO will authorize for the house 
). Included in the box was a piece of what looks like courrigated hose, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and three inches long.
The oh-so-helpful manual didn't mention it. Any idea what this little doober is and what it's for.
BTW, the sprayer did a fine job on the deck with oil-based stain--I was a little heavy-handed on the decking, which took almost three days to dry.
