    After market miter guage

Hi, I'm new to BT3 Central, and am looking for the best price on an after market miter guage for my Delta Unisaw (I also own a BT 3100!). I'm hoping to get an Incra or perhaps a Jessem, but am open to the best price, etc. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Sorry I've got no advice for you, but I did want to say "Welcome to the forum!" I hope you find it as pleasant and helpful as I do. I'm sure someone will be posting shortly with some advice.

IMO the best bang for the buck is the Incra V27 and if I wanted more miter stops I'd go with the Incra 1000. I have the V27. Pat

Seconding the Incra V27. Shop around for this one, it goes on and off sale. I also have the Incra 1000SE model, which is very nice, but I feel that it's a little "too much" for the BT3, so that might be more suitable to your Delta with its bigger table.

I use the V-27 on my Powermatic 14" BS. Rockler has them on sale right now for $49.99, about the best price i've seen.

I'm with Dick and the others on this one... I have 2 V27's and I use the heck outta them. Amazon also has them on sale for a bit more than Rockler ($53.70), but if you are an Amazon Primer, you'll get free shipping, and you might also not have to pay sales tax, depending on your location, so Amazon might be a bit better deal in the long run, or might not. At least you got choices.

            And welcome aboard!

Welcome to the forum!! The best "bang for the buck" is the Incra V27. Whaler says you can pick one up from Rockler for $49.99. That is a good price.

Incra v27 here as well. Not quite as ultra adjustable as some of the more expensive ones, but very accurate, does more angles than I'll ever need and very, very rugged.

Hey, thanks everybody! Great forum! I'm sold on the Incra V27.

                      Thanks again.

I've got a V27, Osborne EB3, and a Jet/Woodhaven Deluxe....all are excellent with different strengths. The V27 is tough to beat for the money...it's a very capable gauge for < $60. You'll want to add a fence to it...shop built or aftermarket.

I'm with Rod's choice. Much more heavy duty and every bit as accurate.
