I was making some quarter round today and my little Rigid quarter sheet sander started making funny noises and was not working right. I dug out my old Rockwell, same as the Porter Cable 330, and finished the sanding. I got the Rigid because the Rockwell has no dust collection and I used to work OK, may again, and collects a lot of its dust. But the Rockwell is so much smoother and quieter.
Any of you have a Rockwell or a PC 330 and another finishing or random orbit sander? Any current models as quiet as the PC 330?
