Just picked up a Delta 40-560 Type 2 scroll saw for $25.
The table has some light rust, but it is otherwise like new. It even has the original owners manual, etc. Very sweet running. I wasn't really looking for a scroll saw, but well, you know... Now I just have to find a use for it... The attached image isn't the exact one I got, but is the same type.
Also picked up a nice little Stanley block plane (No 220) for $2, a wood and brass 9" square (in kind of rough shape but actually square!) for $0.50 and a box of hardwood cutoffs including some very usable pieces for $2.
I rarely bother with garage sales, but am glad I ventured forth this morning!
