I got tired of digging the big shop vac out for small clean ups so I bought a DW DC500 cordless/corded vac from Amazon. It came today so I gave it a quick try using one of my DW 12V batteries, I'm impressed. It's light weight, compact and has great suction. Next I'll pull the 18V battery out of my saw and see if the voltage makes a difference.

I got one of those as a freebie when I got my CMS a few years ago. It's a nice little vac. Until a year or so ago, I didn't have any DW cordless tools, so I didn't have a battery to put in it. I was happy with it as a corded vac, but once I got some DW batteries to use it cordless the little vac rarely leaves my side.Bill
