    Dewalt Jigsaw blew up

    Help, my dewalt jigsaw blew up in my hands last night, literally,

    I was cutting a long, gradual arc in some MDF, and squeal-pop a piece of the metal housing over the cam that drives the saw up and down popped off.

    Needless to say I am going to test the dewalt 3,1,90 warranty

    anyone have any experience with dewalt customer service?

      I received a cordless drill once with a (cosmetic only) damaged chuck. They sent me a new chuck with no questions. I used their online support...not phone.

          Recently had a router burn up on me. Drove an hour to the customer service center, they told me 1 year warranty. I called Dewalt directly on the phone the next day and explained what happened. They mailed me a new router no questions. Very good service, as long as you are not dealing with an idiot at a service center
