    I have the DeWalt 733 and love it, as it seems the above replys for the 734 and 735 attest to. It is more expensive than others mentioned, but it consistently at the top of the list whenever you see any comparisons done by the magazines.
    You might keep an eye out for a used one on CL, Ebay, etc.

      Another vote for the Ridgid, good planer for the money. $100 to $150 less than the DeWalt. But if you are looking to get a 15" sounds like cash flow isn't your problem. You would soon appreciate the extra width capacity.
