    Hitachi band saw

Is anyone familiar with the Hitachi band saw that Lowes had on clearance abour a year ago. Picked one up at a garage sale but I am missing the manual and also would like to know if there is a riser kit available or adaptable.

I have one, I'll see how big the manual is, see if I can easily scan it. There was a forum for a while, I think Stan on here was running it, but I don't see it anymore. There is a riser availablr, http://www.freewebs.com/cb13f/riserinstall.htm.

        Thank You

Got it all downloaded and printed the English version. Also thanks for the link to the riser.

I took down the site as it was getting to the point of only one 'user' logging in every 3 or 4 weeks, but the spammers were hitting it regularly. Still trying to find a backup to put up some static web pages with some of the great info that was posted though.

Hey, I was one of those people logging in from time to time, and there was some very useful information there. If you don't have a backup yourself, does archive.org or google have a cache of the site?
