    Mobile Saw Base

I got this link from Wood E-letter.

    http://www.woodmagazine.com/wood/sto...ml&esrc=nwwp30

Didn't a member here come up with this design? Maybe it's the same person and I'm just not connecting the name with a handle.

I don't remember who posted it, but it was here. They changed the image somewhat if I am remembering correctly, since his saw WAS a BT.

I would like to find it again.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

The original post is gone, but I found this.

It was our guy in the article. Gordon's base was also the "Shop Tip of the Month" in the magazine.

That is a great idea and a working design. He's right, it probably doesn't move. I've got one saw on locking casters that I rarely lock. It takes some pushin' to get it to roll when cutting. Mine has the saw on casters, and the right table has it's own leg assembly with casters, not connected to the saw cabinet. I didn't want cross rails in the way.

His saw height at 37 1/4" seems a bit high to be comfortable.
