    Steve - I understand COMPLETELY. What I meant was, I typically tend to overthink things, and I would probably have gone through every combination of holes looking for the set that matched, only to find that none of them did and I would have to drill and countersink the 4 mounting holes. I'm sure I would not have even thought of the "thru the table" adj hole, probably until I had it all back together, with the plate remounted.

    Your photos just visually illustrated what I would have eventually gotten to, and that saved me an hour or two. I know I'll still need to make the measurements in order to center the router.

      That is exactly what I did.

      I was even more confused by the need to mentally 'flip things over' to accommodate the router base being on the underside of the plate and the accessory table.
