    Ryobi Sliding Miter Saw

I already own a couple of the older 8 1/2 sliders, but in their new catalog they show a 10" slider with an american part number. Wondered if anybody had seen it, used it, and where I can get it. Any info would be appreciated

Looks nearly identical to the GMC that Lowe's sold a few years back. I picked up the CMS with a gift card, and with just a little bit of tuneup, mine CMS was decent. But I did hear mixed reviews on the SCMS.

Lowes is currently selling a 10 inch sliding miter saw under the "Kobalt" brand for $199. The Ryobi saw looks identical to the Lowes "Kobalt" brand.

I purchased a 10 inch sliding saw that looks very similiar to the Ryobi that was sold by Menards under their private label. The saw was ok - not as finished - somewhat rough in machining and finishing. I got a reprieve - the was was recalled due to a safety defect. I took the money, from turning the saw in and picked up a Dewalt sliding miter saw. A world of difference.
