Interesting show, but lots of repeats.

I had it DVRed but deleted that as it just felt like a commercial to me. The bargain alerts forum here is better.

This is what my preconcieved thoughts were. Thought I'd check others opinions though.

Pretty much a commercial, but I have enjoyed some of the factory tours they do. They went to Porter Cable's compressor factory and showed how pancake compressors are made. They also showed the Channel Loc factory. Most of the tools are gimicky though.

I think it's a better show than Tools and Techniques.... I watched that show thinking they'd show me how to actually use hand tools or something...

But anyways, although Grundy is about as pleasant as an actual grundy, I have found out about a few options for future purchases.

I do enjoy the factory tours, and enjoy some of the tools they show, BUT cannot stand the host of the show! He just gets on my nerves; sounds too much like "Billy Mays" who pitches EVERYTHING in too loud a voice and manner.

Grundy always seems like he is trying too hard to be cool, but this show is way, way better than none at all. Nothing can beat Bargain Alerts, but as said earlier, I enjoy the factory tours and have seen some actual "cool" tools. I watch it on my DVR.
