    Circ. Saw Demo Blade

Prolly a question I should know the answer to, but any circ saw blades designed for cutting through nails, etc or just use a junk carbide tipped? I have several 2x6s that were floor joists and have lots of nails in them. I want to rip them down to use as wall studs and it would go quicker if I could just cut through the nails.

I suspect if you used a carbide-tipped blade you'd have carbide tips flying everywhere. Probably best and safest to pull the nails. I'm not sure using a metal-cutting blade on wood is so good, either.

I have used Homier's dollar blades on nail infested wood with a circular saw. It went right thru the first three or four nails, then the teeth started breaking apart. Maybe a flooring blade would be a better idea.

I've always just pulled the nails first. This blade claims to be what you're lookin' for.
