    Sorry, guys, I'm really embarrassed! After owning my saw for 3 months, I just looked at the model number plate. I own a 22811. This explains a lot of my problems, but raises more questions.

    This is the bt3000 equivalent. While checking the parts list on www.sears.com, I found that the drive belts are listed with a different part number than for the 21829.

    Does anyone know if they are compatible? I hope so, 'cuz Sears lists the belt at $9.20 each! That's half price!
