Why can't the makers of router bits etch the diameters of the cutters on the shank of the bit. Some put their names on so they could put the size on. My old eyeballs have trouble distinguishing between 15/32 and 16/32 (true 1/2) inch bits.
How about a campaign to help us old folks who don't want to write the diameter on the shank with a magic marker.
