    Wds 1600

I finally bought this sander today, seeler couldnt get it to turn on. I gave him $60 and brought it home to start working on it. Seller though it was the PC board. First I sprayed the switch with some air to get the debri out and guess what, it fired up so Im very happy. Question is were can I get a manual for it and were can I find out how old this is through the serial #? Thanks

Here's a good place to start (note the phone number in the spec section).

    Next, you might try this.

Then, you can gain access to a .pdf of the manual and additional resources right here in this BT3Central thread from a couple months back.

You should have kissed him before you left, because you certainly screwed him! After the way he tried to jack up the asking price, I think he deserved it, though.

If you can't find a manual, let me know. I can make a copy of mine for you. I also have a parts breakdown that isn't in the manual. Send me an email address and I will send it to you.

At that price, it would have been worth it for a parts machine.

That deal sounds like a "you suck" is in order. Congratulations.

Download the Steel City manual - it should be pretty close as far as operations and adjustments. http://www.steelcitytoolworks.com/pr...210_manual.pdf

Also, a user posted his hints and tips on using this machine at this site: http://members.cox.net/scrumpton/woo...ng/wds1600.htm
