    Biesenmeyer fence microadjust?

I was wondering what kinds of microadjusting schemes people are using with Bies type fences. I have a Shop Fox Classic which I'm happy with. I really miss the micro adjuster on the BT3 fence though.

Rockler does sell a T square type micro adjuster which looks like it operates with magnets. From the photo it looks kind of bulky. Anybody tried one of those? Are there other possibilities out there?

    Thanks!

I don't use any adjuster other than what comes with the fence. On the "T" bar, there are tabs on either side of the cam assembly that allow an "in" or "out" adjustment. I don't know if you can call this "micro", but it's incremental enough to adjust the fence square.

Thanks Cabinetman. Mine does have grub screws to adjust the fence square. I was hoping for some kind of device which would allow me to fine tune the size of the rip cut. Right now I whack the fence with the palm of my hand. It works fine but it's difficult to do tiny adjustments reliably. I know that's what people have been doing for years. After using the BT3 screw microadjuster though, I'm kind of envious.

My thoughts exactly. The Wixey digital fence attn. maybe what you would like, gets mixed reviews , the Bies. cursor /scale is so good that you can get to 1/64" usu.. I thought of adding a magnet to keep the Rockler one attached to the fence like the Ryobi one.
Frustrating that the BT3K design was never upgraded to be a better saw in size and build quality.

I know. That was by far my favorite feature on the BT3.

Rockler sells something that looks like it would work.
