    A bit of a gloat ( I think)

Well my search for a lathe has finally come to an end. Here's what I found on NY Craig's list:

Craftsman 228162 lathe (old, but very little use, in great condition)
18 tools, of which 9 are Robert Sorbys!
    A Vega lathe duplicator.

    All for $250.

    What do you think?

    Cheers,

    MikeR

Gloat on. Know nothing about the lathe, but the tooling and Vega duplicator are worth much more than that.

I think if I lived anywhere near there I couldn't get there fast enough. Nice score.

Sounds like you have a gloat there. What kind of shape is the Lathe in? Did you get any extras besides what you listed? You can probably do search and come up with the manuals and parts list. Have fun.
