    Herc-U-Lift

For any who has the Rigid TS3650 How high does the herc-u-lift lift the saw off the ground? I just bought a used one and the saw only seems to get raised about an 8th of an inch, and was wonder if that was normal.

I have an earlier version of the 3650 and on my saw I'd say that the lift raises the saw about a 1/2"-5/8".

are there any adjustments tha can be made to the system to get it to lift to that height. Maybe something was not assembled correctly ot maybe something got bent.

I found this thread to be very useful when I was putting mine together:

If all of the arms are level to the floor when the pedal is locked down, as they should be, then the only way to get more height is to move the casters out towards the legs of the saw. The size of the casters and the height of the mounting point up the legs of the stand are all that determine how high the machine is lifted off the floor. It should lift it about 1/2".
I hope this makes some sense.

If the unit is assembled correctly and still not giving enough lift you may try bending the mounting brackets down a little bit. The four brackets that attach to the legs on mine weren't giving enough clearance when lifted so I bent them down a little and now it works fine. Just be careful not to flex the metal too much and create weakness.

              Hope this helps, good luck.
