grip-tite magnetic feather board

hi there, can anyone tell me about grip-tite magnetic feather board. has anyone got/used them yet? i would love to hear from you as i`m a paraplegic and have only the use of one hand. and have just hear about them. thank you, Jemmy.

Are you using a BT300x TS? If so, note that a magnetic hold down won't work on the aluminum table.

I use the Grip-Tite Pro kit with my BT3100. The Pro kit has the friction rollers that push the stock towards the fence. I bought the steel fence plate accessory and made a 3' plywood fence, with a recess for the steel plate, that I attach with nuts and stove bolts to the stock fence. Just use a nut size that fits in the extrusion in the fence. The set-up with any type of push stick gives me great control when cutting long stock or plywood sheets and I never place my hands near the blade.

When cutting small pieces I use the Gripper. While these accessories may seem expensive a single trip to the ER costs much more and they usually can't reattach your fingers anyway.

I have a "pro" set that rarely makes it off my BS. They are great for resawing tall boards. I use them a feather boards on the TS against the edge of the wood, I have never used them on the fence as a hold down.
