Milwaukee battery recall.... and more

I thought this was interesting, both from the safety aspect... not sure if this is old news or not... but also it seems that Milwaukee is making batteries for Chicago Pneumatic, which to me is aka Harbor Freight. What is the significance of this?? Not sure. What say you?

Central Pneumatic is the HF knockoff of Chicago Pneumatic. Chicago Pneu. makes high quality industrial tools.

I checked my milwaukee batteries and they are ever so slightly newer then the recall.

When I bought my impact wrench used, I was so excited to get a really good deal on the brand name "Central Pneumatic." When I got it home I realized what I really was thinking of was "Chicago Pneumatic." The awesome deal I thought I got turned out to be the price of a new HF impact wrench!
